For years, Charlotte (N.C.) Motor Speedway has seen the NASCAR Cup Series cars qualify on Thursday of race weekend in preparation for the series’ longest-race, the Coca-Cola 600 traditionally held on the Sunday night before Memorial Day.

However, a spokesperson from Charlotte Motor Speedway has confirmed to CATCHFENCE.com that the track will adjust its date for Spectrum Pole Night NASCAR Cup Series qualifying as well as move the ARCA Menards Series General Tire 150 from its nameplate Thursday night spot to Friday night, May 22, 2020.
