Last Night
Wow, didn't see this coming. Thought for sure it would be OU/OSU.....LSU beat the tar out of the Sooners...what a performance, 7 touchdown passes in the first half. Hope Joe Burrows is happy in Cincinnati...then everyone except the 5 fans in the stadium for Clemson was sporting the Garnett and Gray....well everyone except the referee in the replay booth.....while I agree with he targeting call, don't like the rule, but I could see Wade getting ejected after the kid from OU got tossed earlier, that reversal of the fumble after the catch was horrible. I absolutely understand why people are bitter sports fans in Ohio...lastly I don't understand why they aren't playing on the 6th? why wait until the 13th...two weeks, that's crazy....

OSU couldn’t score in the red zone.
That was the difference in the game, IMO. Change one of those 3 field goals into a TD, and it’s a different game.

Or don't call a fumble recovery touchdown an incomplete pass.
They made mistakes and the refs clearly were pulling for Clemson.
Doesn't matter, the winner is surely being led to slaughter. LSU is just plain good.

I was just thinking of the cartoon in the paper the other day... Arlo and Janice. Janice walks in and asks Arlo why he is not as interested in football much any more, and he answers... "It is a game by committee".
The referees have taken control of just about every play and can dramatically influence the game. I am not a big fan of the way stripping the ball has become such a big thing either. I am surprised they don't use brass knuckles and clubs.

I think Justin Field's knee was in worse shape than they let on. He ran the ball 14 times for 13 yards.

OSU had chances, despite the bad call, and their D let Clemson do what they wanted on their last drive to win the game. Stop that drive and the game was over. The final interception was the final nail in OSUs coffin. A mistake by the WR but it looked like Clemson had him covered anyway.
LSU vs Clemson should be a great game.

Agree. Three trips in the red zone and nly 3 FGs (9 points), then Dobbins drops that pass in the flat when he had an escort of three blockers to the end zone.

South Carolina versus Louisiana… Sounds like it should be entertaining.
