    What's at Stake?

If you want to know what's at stake in the next election watch this. ...and never nominate a friend you wish to keep for Senate consideration for a seat on the Supreme Court. https://to.pbs.org/2JxYx3d

Sorry, I will not watch this, as I do not watch PBS nor listen to NPR. They are shills for the DemocRats. They do not have the good of the nation in mind. It is a shame that so much of public funds are spent on those organizations. They do more harm than does Planned Parenthood.

Agreed, however I find it interesting to learn what scares the libs, what frustrates THEIR agenda. What gives them nightmares.

In this case it is presented as the liberal's own excesses (which they would argue are not excesses but just the party line) that have resulted in a well tuned and efficient conservative machine that, with a little luck, has resulted in a conservative majority on the Supreme Court and promises to bring the rest of the judiciary in line with the conservative agenda much to the dismay of people like Feinstein and Harris.

The liberalism of the law schools resulted in conservative students forming their own association called the Federalist Society which has proven a reliable bull pen for the selection of conservative judges. The majority on the Supreme Court are now members of the Federalist Society. When elected, President Trump had no idea who he should nominate to fill judicial positions and asked his advisers if anyone could draw up a list. One advisor raised his hand and guess where he went for the list which had already been made from its membership, by its membership.

The other liberal excess was their treatment of Robert Bork and the mistakes he made during his confirmation hearing. As a result the only thing that matters in confirmation hearings is who controls the Senate and Senators can never again expect anything but a rehearsed non-response as a response to any of their questions and nominees can expect nothing but personal vilification from the opposing party if they even get a hearing. Qualifications of the nominee are irrelevant.

The crowning liberal nightmare of the story is Mitch McConnell who has learned from liberal excesses how to run the Senate and was willing to gamble that a Republican would replace Obama and thus held the Supreme Court vacancy open for the next president to fill.

The liberals don't see any end to these political realities so they will try to ensure themselves control of the presidency and senate so they can then control the judiciary. Bipartisanship is dead, its winner take all or as Barack Husein Obama put it, "Elections have consequences."

Yes. It's all party politics. Never mind what's good for the people, what's good for the nation. It's all about what's good for me and what's good for my party power structure. All the more reason this nation is going to hell in a handbasket.

The closer to exposing what the democrats did up to the 2016 elections we get, the harder the socialists are going to fight back. What they cannot stand is the idea of someone turning over their rock and exposing their actions to sunlight.

The reason I think this is because of how much they are now crying "cover up"... Whenever they start accusing people of something, it is usually whatever it was they were doing.

They have been dutifully trying to make Barr look like a dishonest lackey for the president because they know what he will find. It is almost funny if the outcome were not so serious in the nature of what it means for the future of our nation.

Indeed, the outcome will have serious consequences for our nation. What I don't see very much is resistance by the opposition, not just the politicians... they come from the same ego base. Why are the people not taking to the streets? It is the people, after all, who are suffering from governmental inaction. Is there no fire in this generation? Has it been totally seduced? Do we old farts have to do it again?

This sort of made me chuckle because they just did a piece on TV today concerning the attitudes of people in very liberal states like California and NY and Florida. Places where it is considered chick" to be a progressive. They were saying that the people there are suddenly getting a taste of what they have been advocating for and getting tired of the homeless and druggies occupying the streets around their gated communities. In Florida, when ICE showed up with a busload of illegals to dump, the locals wouldn't let them off the bus and told the agents to take them somewhere else.

People love to talk smack until the reality of what they profess is sitting on their front lawns, then they start talking more smack about who's fault it is. Amazing.

The only fire in liberals is in their gas fireplaces and multi tiered BBQ grilles sitting on their balconies.

Isn't it funny that people demand everything - and demand that it be free. And we have spineless politicos who refuse to say no.

"Finger in the wind" politicians are what I call them. If someone said that everyone loved a guy with 3 noses, some politicians would have 2 more grafted on.

After the lambasting of the polls last election, you would think that politicians would have learned a lesson... The motto of the modern American should be "Give us what we don't want, and do it now"....

    Refresher on how Trump won.

The moment NBC News *REALIZES* Trump has WON FLORIDA!!
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l7qosAgxlf0

The interesting parts for me were:

about the 3 min mark they began a conversation about all the
mistakes Trump made that will cause him to lose the election

just after 4 min mark, where they extol Hillary's "ground game" and say that Trump had none.
    (forgetting about his rallies)

about 6:45 where they show Broward County voting going very heavily to Hillary,
(this is the county where their hero hid behind a car instead of stopping a shooter,
providing them with 17 bodies to stand on to push propaganda saying
law abiding citizens were at fault for one of their own shooting up a school)

about 7:35 they have an interview with Micheal Moore, who, ironically, lays out the
true reasons Trump was winning, although he thinks Trump is a con artist.

about 9:40 they are in denial
about 11:00 - 1140 they are beginning to understand
about 12:48 and the Hateries are crying
I don't mind being called far right.
I have been right so far.
