    Keep Pigs

Why do pigs have an image of uncleanliness? They are reportedly the most intelligent of farm animals and would appear to be very useful in cleaning up after people.

Well, pigs will eat anything. As will most people if they get hungry enough. As long as there is some protein content.

I saw a great T shirt the other day .... it said "I'd raise my own bacon but I can't find the seeds".... Must have been a Californian.

The best part of having a hog farm is that you'll have very few Muslim visitors... a goat farm on the other hand...

Growing up I had Yorkshire and Bluebutts.

Here's a pork story as told by my dad.

Grandpa had pigs and chickens. He named the pigs Hitler and Mussolini. The chickens would stick their head in the pen to get some grain. Well, one of the pigs would bite the head of the chickens. I don't know if it was Hitler or Mussolini.

As the story goes. Grandpa got pretty mad about a hog killing the chickens. So he adjusted the pigs attitude with a 2x4. Knocked it's eye out.

After that, It stopped killing chickens.

We just returned from visiting family out of state, and while we were there, a friend of theirs dropped by with her dad who was also visiting from out of state. The gentleman is a Muslim from Pakistan who worked many years for USDA as a meat inspector.

It’s possible the Muslim avoidance of pork is a bit exaggerated.

Meanwhile, my neighbor put a stop to three feral hogs on my place this morning—a hog, a sow, and a little white piglet.

Made me think about the time when I was stationed at Ft. Sill Oklahoma and my Battery was tasked with keeping the guest quarters for visiting officers stocked with required basics... The Islamic students always demanded resupply of liquor... Seems their avoidance of Alcohol is abandoned once they leave home territory.

When my wife was in Desert storm, the post office had a list of what we could and could not send them in a "care package". Pork was number one on the list. Imagine my surprise when she sent me a picture of her sitting on her cot eating a Christmas dinner of... You guessed it, baked ham....

But then she also told me that while "in country" the women soldiers were supposed to fade into the woodwork and remain silent when the males were talking to their Saudi counterparts. She also told me that most of the Saudis had no problems whatsoever with dealing with US women soldiers... A lot of hype gets tossed when times demand it.

nah, Grammar. It's not "exaggerated", it's hypocritical. In their home area, they will avoid wine, women, song AND pork at all costs......but once they get away from home, it's katy bar the door time......even those jihadies that rode their planes to their deaths spent the earlier evenings watching porn and enjoying those things you can find to enjoy in casinos and next door motels......one of the strangest things I ever saw (early on) about Isamic fighters that , combat, they don't air their rifles or mortars.....they just fire their rounds from cover and believe that they will go where ever their Allah wants them to go.......strangest thing ever and one the primary reasons, why early on, the casualties were so lop sided......it's like their IEDs......they just lay 'em out there and whoever their Allah wants to hit is is who hits it!.....Marksmanship or 'aimed fire' was, until recently, completely a foreign concept to the jihadist......mac
