Oh, and don't forget the republicans are the ones who are haters and are violent...

Like I said, whatever the democrats are calling the republicans is exactly what the democrats are guilty of. I believe it is call deflection, or deception or something like that. They are very good at this sort of magic act of illusion. Or is it delusion?
When the fault you see in others are in reality your own that's called projection. The Demoncrapps have perfected that skill.
    Added this just for fun:

Le mot catholique n’est pas un gros mot.

There are plenty of democrats who obviously set their clocks 2 hours fast so they can say stupid #### before anyone else.

Both of the major parties are abysmal. They all play the same game, and just adapt to and adopt each others' tactics. I have never seen a bigger bunch of snowflakes in my life. And the supporters of each party generally accept the rhetoric (i.e., "drink the Koolaid") that has been offered. There is bias in all media, with the profit motive overruling the need for honest information.

Both parties run up horrendous deficits and debts, trying to mollify their constituents, and provide the "red meat" promised during a campaign. Re-election is the only motive of every politician, no matter how well disguised.

We no longer teach our kids civics, and wonder that they will fall for anything that sounds good.

We no longer are willing to look at our own "tribe", and determine if its goals are worth pursuing, or whether we have the best approach to shared goals. Intelligent debate is eschewed as "elitist", and demagoguery based on ideology rules our political discourse.

We have brought ruin upon ourselves. "Idiocracy" is here. I thank God I will not have to live through the next generation of this tragic comedy.

I agree that both parties have become extremely generous in spending the tax dollars they get, and both are expert at finding ways to get as much home in their districts as they can. But the line of rhetoric is basically wjhat their paying ( emphasis on paying) constituents want to hear.

In my case, I usually tend to desire things that are good for America and not good for votes. Any time someone actually shows support for things like jobs, the economy, and security, they are talking what I like to hear. Then it is up to me, as a voter, to see if they are all hat and no cattle or what.

Anyone who is supporting things that are harmful to America I vote against. Having seen what rampant taxation and redistribution of wealth and socialism have done for other countries, I will stick to the American market based economy ideals every time.

People who talk the liberal talk are more about getting attention for themselves with an eye towards getting elected, or reelected, and gaining that support by promising people rainbow stew and goodies for free. Anyone who has had to actually work for a living, and scrape by to gain a living knows full well that the goodies they are getting for "free" have to be paid for by someone. Government does not make one single penny on its own, but there are a lot of people out there who are so blinded by their desire for an easy existence that they refuse to let their brains do the math, or face the truth that the government has to get that money from somewhere. And that simply printing it up just makes things worse for everyone, including them.

I likewise will probably not be around to see this latest sad trend towards socialism come full circle, but I do worry about my daughter having to live with it. It is a hard lesson to learn, and many will lose big time, but that is one thing America is good at. Living through things.

I like to think about what Churchill said about Americans... We will always do the right thing after we have exhausted all of the other alternatives.
We have met the enemy and he is us... POGO
