The rookie was great - 2 hits in 6 innings and the Tribe takes it 2-0.
This kid was a 2016 draft choice, as was Beiber and Plezak. Looks like the Tribe drafted well that year and these youngsters will be the basis of their starting rotation for the next 10 years.

These young guns are looking good. Still need a hitting coach.

I am reminded, by my wife of all people, that the Rangers are above 500 right now too.

But the Indians do look like the team that will be almost impossible to beat this year. I also like the White Sox for next year if they keep developing.

    Their bullpen is fairly impressive.

Tribe edges KC, 3-2, in the 10th as Kipnis hits a walk off HR. Game was delayed for about 2-1/2 hours due to rain. KC, the cellar dwellar in the AL Central, always gives the Indians fits.
Kipnis is hitting a ton. Ramirez looks like he's finally starting to come around. Bobby Bradley, rookie call up from AAA, is also hitting and driving in runs.

Kipnis has really been clutch lately.

They are 7.5 games behind now. Things are heating up.

Get it down to 4 games behind by the all-star break and we should be able to catch them. The Tribe's bats are heating up, the rookies are tearing it up, the pitching has been good.

Looks like Hand had his first blown save tonight. Gave up a grand slam in the 9th.

He's been very shaky his last 3 or 4 times out. Maybe needs a few days of rest.
