    Calpreps predictions:

    Cove 35 Shoemaker 17
    Killeen 34 Ellison 19
    Temple 35 Midway 31
    Belton 61 Waco 10

Talking to people quite a few think Ellison has a really good shot to win Friday. They’d better shore things up on defense to have a chance. Shoemaker can make it close if they show up to play all 4 quarters but this game is too important for Cove to drop I think

How much defense did Ellison have last week, when they lost to Belton 86-55. At least 55 shows that Ellison has some offense...or maybe that the Belton Tigers have a bit of a 'Jekyll & Hyde' playing style, alternating between super and not-so-super (they beat Temple a few weeks ago 55-52...going to THREE overtimes!)

Well Belton’s been like that for a while now, bend but don’t (usually) break defense with a dynamic offense

That was a wild finish though, didn’t see that coming

Not me... Now this really muddies up the playoff picture. Cove better hope for a win next week. I predict Ellison will kick the hell out of bye....

I've heard bye has a great D, haven't been scored on all season.
