I don't think LGBT groups get government benefits. For being gay? No - they just want the rights secured for everyone else by the Constitution. I don't have a problem with equal rights. But, like equal rights for women, they should be subject to the draft, etc.
This is horse hockey. They want extra rights.
And they want to reshape society to fit their deviance.

    ...
And yes, I am a Libertarian, ad that is why I prefer the classic definition of liberalism.
No. You're not. But you seem to have convinced yourself that you are.
I don't mind being called far right.
I have been right so far.

You suppose that describes Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez?

Oh, I don't know. She may be for all I know. After all, you have to consider the fact that people did vote for her and she won. Now, to me, the test of truth is what one actually does after winning. So far, all I can see of AOC is that she is more interested in stirring up crap than anything legislatively connected. Oh, she has made vague proposals without any realistic means of finding the money needed to get them done. But mostly, I think she is acting like a kid who got a few likes on her facebook page and is desperately trying to get a few more. And there are always a handful of weird people out there who will hit the like button no matter what you put on the net.

Lately it seems she is "positioning" herself to make a rep that she can carry into the future.

If I want to look at a successful politician, I look at what they say and what gets done after they are elected. So far, Only Trump seems to have done that fairly successfully. Everyone else seems to be trying very hard to make a name for themselves by getting in the way of his efforts. No matter whether you like him or not, at least he does what he says, unless others get in his way, and mostly what he does helps America. That, to me, is what more politicians should be trying to do.

If AOC would actually accomplish something meaningful and helpful for America, and, I do not put getting free stuff for her voters in that category, then I would be all for her. That seems to be the last thing on her to do list however.
We have met the enemy and he is us... POGO

I studied at a real Jesuit University, majored in Political Science, and graduated summa cum laude. Then, I went to a good law school and graduated in the top 15% of my class, with A's in Constitutional law.
Considering how little you seem to know of it, maybe you should ask for your money back.

I will pit my education against yours any day. Yes, I know that education is a bad word for people that don't have it. Live with it.
    LONG LIVE FOX.
Not sure why you would call your University ""FOX."
Not really familiar with any Universities that have a Fox as a Mascot.
As for pitting your education, well, we know your is in the pits.

She (he?) is OBVIOUSLY referring to the FOX NEWS NETWORK, you idiot! I didn't read her "LONG LIVE FOX" as a shout-out to her alma mater or other college.
Fox News is, to a large degree, the ONLY televised media outlet that is NOT seeking an immediate end to the Trump Administration, based on what I've seen and read.

Granted, some of the 'talking heads' on Fox (the News Network, NOT the entertainment channel!) may be wavering a little in their total support of The Donald (Ann Coulter to the white courtesy phone! Chris Wallace to the blue courtesy phone), but at least they are not with the 'Impeach Trump Now' crowd of mouthbreathers who populate the other news channels...

Hey Rick - I would like to setup CTT to have a Pay Per View section with popcorn etc ...

    When a fight breaks out - move the fight to a PPV section;
it seems proper to hit a PPV button - with a small entrance fee - to get in to the channel,
and an alert that cranks out an SMS to everyone "It's on @ CTT".

I can attract paying sponsors - if their is sufficient name calling,
    comments about appendage size, etc.

    Just a thought ...

No. You're not. But you seem to have convinced yourself that you are.
You don't know what a Libertarian is. If true Libertarians ran the US, you would have about 65% less federal government, lesser State government, and lesser City government. You would, of course, trade all the benefits that you may receive (like Social Security and Medicare), unemployment insurance (unless privately bought), a minimum wage, or any of the Consumer Protection laws we rely on. No NASA, no national parks, and perhaps dirtier air, water and soil. Public schools (including colleges) would be gone. There would be more litigation, as every grievance that had been covered by regulation or law (like having auto insurance) would be gone.

On the other hand, you would have improved infrastructure, lower taxes, and a leaner Army (because we wouldn't be involved in endless wars), no welfare cheats, or sick people to worry about outside the charity systems. No one would be regulating your personal life, and you could poison yourself all day with all the drugs you like, too bad, so sad for you and your family, or any victim you might harm while you are crazy on the drugs.. At least the drugs would be cheap again.

    Here is the Libertarian platform:

    https://www.lp.org/platform/

I agree with more of it than I oppose. Infrastructure will never be funded voluntarily, I am afraid. Were it, Killeen wouldn't be in the shape it is in. An Army couldn't be raised on voluntary contributions. Some taxation is necessary. I don't like the position on abortion, either.

So, what am I, if not a Libertarian? Maybe just a free thinker with no ties to anyone's opinion other than those I deem worthwhile.
