Tribe drops the afternoon rubber game, 3-1. Tampa's Blake Snell sure looks more and more like the Cy Young winner - 7 IP, 1 hit, 1 ER, 10 K's. Only JRam managed to get a hit - a HR.
Carrasco is his own worst enemy giving up a 2R HR in the first. Kluber's next start has been pushed back. They still don't know if Bauer will be back or not. This starting rotation is now a mess.

Tomlin takes the mound tonight to pitch batting practice to Detroit.

Let's hope. Magic number is 2, so a win coupled with a Minnesota loss tonight will clinch it for the Tribe.

That kind of stuff is priceless, really nice to see. It took me a minute to find this, but yesterday at the KLM Golf Tournament in the Netherlands, a young boy tee'd it up after the two pros hit on a par three and made the green. Often on the European and Asian Tours they let young kids, boys and girls, tee one up in the early rounds in front of every one along with the pros. it is really nice to see.

Josh Tomlin has always been like that. He's one helluva nice guy. To me, it's amazing he still pitches after all the shoulder/arm injuries he had.
Of course, note the kid was throwing harder than Josh.

Tigers take it 5-4. Tomlin gives up a HR to the lead off batter. Fat Ed and Donaldson went deep, but this team is playing like they are totally disinterested.
