Time to invest in some electrical heat tape XZ... Check Lowes or Home depot.
We ran into this issue at the airport with all sorts of water outlet points and decided that the only way to really ensure a freeze free water point was to apply heat to it in some way. Insulation only works to a certain degree...
For a restful night, I would heartily suggest getting the electrical heat wrap and a few extension cords to get power to the plugs.

Freezing Faucets
When we bought the house we are in now, the previous owner had a spigot out near a concrete pad in the north corner of the lot. It was on a pipe about 4 feet above ground. There was an electric outlet there, and it was wrapped in some heat tape. The outlet was on a switch inside the house. I always either forgot to turn on the heat tape, or forgot to turn it off. I wrapped it in a couple of pool noodles for a while. That water line also went over to a spigot next to my workshop. I ended up taking out the pipe near the concrete pad, and putting in 2 valves near the workshop - 1 to turnoff the water to it, and one to drain the vertical pipe. The valves are in a sprinkler box below grade.

Yesterday the vacant house next door had a broken exterior pipe. I think it was part of that backflow prevention plumbing scam that broke. I attempted to turn the water off at the meter but I couldn't get the valve to budge so I called the city water department. I don't know what, if anything they did as it was too cold to wait around to see.

I am beginning to think that part of my problem was the backflow prevention attachment on my faucet....
No new leakage has presented itself as of yet and there has been plenty of thaw time....

I installed a valve before my backflow junk and am able to turn the water off to it so when it is freeze time I open the it up to ventilate. seems to work fine.
