Roll Tide didn't work today. What a mess now that 1 and 2 lost.

It will be interesting to say the least. But I will watch regardless of who is ranked in the top 4. There are so many great teams out there so should be a lot of exciting games to watch.

One thing is for certain - it will be dark tonight, and the sun will come up tomorrow.

Yes, but the announcers are getting cute throwing UCF in the hunt, especially if the beat Memphis next week.

If Wisconsin beats Ohio State they should be a lock for the CFP. If they lose it is gonna create more of a mess than we have now after this past weekend.
This is why I think an 8 game playoff is better. Some may not agree. These big bowl games could be used for the first round. The season might be expanded by one week, or
make the first round played before Christmas. As it is now these teams have nearly one month off.
At least Notre Dame went down in flames to Stanford last night.

Making the first round played before Christmas might change when the big bowl games are played. Not sure how well that would go over.
I think they should have the Power 5 conference champs, 1 non-Power 5 conference champ, and two wild cards.

Seriously - wouldn't be difficult. The big bowls are worried about their big $$, but they would have a packed house and big $ from TV
for a quarterfinals match between, say, Alabama and Oklahoma, etc.
The argument that these big bowls have a tradition of playing on New Year's Day is a crock - they have gotten away from that the past few years.
Sure, scheduling might be a hassle over the holidays but it could be done.
