I guess your definition of immediately is different than most.
Immediately would be the first time he did his stunt he would have been gone, instead he hung around and actually started games. Not so immediate don't you know.

Kaepernick was in consideration to be an "Arm" for the Ravens during their camp. Flacco is still tore up and Harbaugh needed an arm or two for camp. He has the young kid from A&M instead. Kapernick is still unemployed. He was also headed to Canada, but the Ottawa Redblacks said no. Just thinking that Kaepernick would be a starter for the "Redblacks" is kinda funny....

To add insult to injury, the Dolphins took a look at Kaepernick. Then called for Jay Cutler to come out of retirement.
