My Dad (Messages moved from Tribe Talk)

Ramirez has doubled in seven straight games.

My Dad passed away Sunday, so I have a whirlwind trip to Raleigh for his service, then I'll fly to Ohio to bury his ashes, and that will put me in Cleveland next week when the Rangers come to town for what will hopefully be a severe beat down.

I think I'll go to the game on Wednesday.

My condolences, Rick. Be safe. Better not bring the Tribe bad luck.

My condolences on the loss of your father, Rick. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithfully departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. You and your family are in my prayers.

I am sorry for your loss, Rick. I made the trip from here to Raleigh to Ohio (Steubenville, not Cleveland) when my dad passed in 2009. My thoughts are with you and your family.

yeow, those are long terrible trips. I had to make it from about 27 miles northwest of chu lai, South Vietnam. Think it was my last tour....must've been '70, '71 or maybe even '72.....they moved me out so fast I was still wearin' tiger stripes when I got to Santa Anna.......The worst part was the drive from Love in a rental to Santa Anna...................a lot of time to think and remember.....too much time.....mac

My Dad passed while staying with me. He had a heart attack and passed at S&W the next afternoon. It was like an elephant jumped on my chest. It's been almost 14 years and I still think about him almost everyday.
