The sports media is just loving the Tribe's collapse. While I thought Fox Sports' announcers were way too much pro-Yankees, ESPN is just having a field day.
I'm sure many are questioning Tito's management of the pitching staff and always batting Kipnis in the 2nd spot. The human strike out machine looked terrible
trying to hit Sabatthia swinging at those soft sliders two inches off the plate.
They have some tough decisions to make this off season - do they do the $11M option on Brantley? I sure hope not. While Brantley is a very good defensive LF
when healthy, he hasn't been healthy for over two years. His power numbers have been way down. He's nothing like the player he once was back in 2014 when
he hit .320+, 22HR, over 100 RBIs. Spend the $11M and write a new contract for Lindor. Cut loose Kipnis also. He obviously can't play a good CF. His offensive numbers are way down also.
Still think Tito made some big mistakes with his post season roster - left off Yandy Diaz who was a good bat and a decent 3B who could also play LF. Left McAllister
off the pitching roster - McAllister is good for an inning or so and throws 98 MPH heat. But Tito is too loyal to some of these older vets. And it definitely showed and hurt.
Overall a very good year, but no one will remember they won 22 in a row, 102 games, only that they blew a 2-0 lead to the Yankees and fell apart. It sucks to be a Cleveland fan sometimes.
Now we get to watch the Cleveland Clowns probably go 0-16 and get another bunch of overhyped draft picks who won't do anything as the Clowns continue their "rebuilding" as
they have done for the past 18 years.

Heard Dan Patrick, a huge Cleveland sports fan, talk about how the Browns have to face the Texans this weekend and Hue Jackson will have to answer the Deshaun question, you know why didn't the Browns take Deshaun Watson, instead they took Deshone Kizer, who lost his job to Kevin some body. He also mentioned the money ball A's who won 20 in a row, losing in the first round and now people are calling the Indians the money ball Tribe...

First part is easy - they wanted Myles Garrett to provide a big pass rush. Garrett, after a high ankle sprain, finally got to see action last Sunday and did have two sacks. Watson was sure to go off the board before the
Clowns had their next pick. Besides, Tom Brady or Peyton Manning couldn't help the Clowns.

I'll take 102 wins that included a 22 game win streak and an early exit in the playoffs over what your Texas Rangers did any year.
