I wonder why they don't do the parallel springs any more?
Having had one of those parallel springs break once, I think I know why they aren't used any more. If a headboard spring breaks it generally just unwinds on its mounting pole rather than taking an excursion around the garage.

I elected to remove the door entirely in favor of creating 400 feet of climate controlled usable space.
Bell County tax people said "Wow Nice Job - Give Me Some More Money" ?

I used to have one of those when I was a kid... It is called a carport. My old man converted it into 2 bedrooms as an add on to the house as he had 4 kids in a 3 bedroom house.
