Yes, that was my first step. However, the outside key pad just doesn't seem to want to synch with the main unit. The brands are the same, and by the yellowing of the keypad, I assume its the original one.

Do you have the user manual for that keypad? Have you read it?

No manual. Only what's printed on the cover. Yes, I've gone by it 4 times.

Nope. That was the next part I wanted to go after. I don't know how to test it, so I'm gonna buy a new one and keep the receipt.

Well, there is this magical place called Killeen Overhead Doors that can usually solve these sorts of issues.

One other hint... When I couldn't get my garage door to program because I didn't have an owners manual, I actually did what my wife suggested and went on line and found one I could download for free. Then, again, after listening to my wife, I sat down and actually read the instructions and voila... it worked.

And when I want to get her into a compromising position, I just ask her to help me look for a dollar bill I lost under the couch... For a buck, she will bend over and look all day long. Heh heh....
