Fine with me. I'll be there if the creek don't raise. Where is the meeting?

Based on the results, it looks like we'll have more participation if we wait until after the holidays.

At least there isn't anyone not willing to have lunch with us...

I nominate January 16, 2017... Martin Luther King's Day... the third Monday of the month.

Since only eight of us voted, I'm not too sure of that.

I would have voted for after the holidays, but I also know that trying to gain a true accurate concensus on these sorts of gatherings is almost fruitless. Try throwing a bible study group party over the holidays... Like trying to get congress to agree on something.

It was either abstain or go with the "no way I would eat with you Neanderthals". Although I understand that Mac can keep most of his food off his lap and in his mouth.

Well, we could make it the following day:
    Ditch New Years Resolutions Day

Date When Held : Event is always January 17

If there's a day to celebrate New Years and to make resolutions for the upcoming year, then there should be a day to ditch those resolutions. That's the reason for today.

If you haven't broken or given up all of those New Year's resolutions, you're doing better than most of us. Maybe, you're well along the way to accomplishing them. Maybe, a few are already checked off on your list. Good for you!

For many of us, New Years resolutions are hanging heavily over our heads. They have become a burden, and perhaps were not such a good idea after all.

Then...... of course, there's the Ne Years resolutions that have already been broken.

If you haven't accomplished, broken, or given up your New Year's resolutions, today is your chance to get out from under them.
Seriously, though, if I can get the date two weeks in advance, I cam make it almost any day in Jan.

I don't mind being called far right.
I have been right so far.
