That was a good game, very enjoyable to watch. Especially when both sides #9 hitter homered. Texas on the other hand.....Hopefully the games today will just as good as last night.

Not only does Hammy have the best home run call, he has the best foul ball call...

Shades of the '97 playoffs when the Tribe's Manny Ramirez, Jim Thome and Mark Whitten all went deep in the same inning.
Too bad Napoli's ball was foul. Left the ball park.
Just hoping the Kluber of old shows up on the mound today. And he can give us 6 good innings. Boston counters with
David Price who is also a great pitcher and has pretty much owned the Tribe the past few years.

Another bad game for the Rangers' starter - Jays crank out 3 homers off Darvish.

The Rangers have no decent starters... My wife and I are trying to guess which hapless loser they are going to roll out for the sacrifice in game 3.
But even worse that their pitching woes is their very spotty batting. All the guys that usually hit well are window shopping this week. That, and the fact that they guy calling balls and strikes appears to be a Jays fan.
And the strike zone has been a constant problem this year it seems. Not just for the Rangers either. The quality of pitch calls has really become a crap shoot any more, and like my wife was wondering... does the Umpires association have any sort of peer review system. Evidently not.
And I'm not saying that out of sour grapes. All one has to do is watch the pitch tracker to see how spotty the calls have been. Same pitch in the same location being called ball one tome and a strike a few pitches later. Totally baffling.
