    Final Parents' Weekend at A&M

My wife and I attended our last Parent's Weekend at A&M this Saturday and it was bittersweet. It's hard to believe that 4yrs have gone by so quickly!!! We reflected with a few of the other parents of seniors on how it seemed like we JUST dropped them off as Fish and here they are about to Commission and graduate next month....boy how time flies!

Enjoy, won't be long until you are pinning your pride at a promotion. Congrats.

I went yesterday too and enjoyed it a lot. My son had a great time at the game because his all time favorite Texas Tech player Jace Amaro was there. He was able to sit and talk with him a few and have a picture with him....lol

It was my first time seeing the Corp march and it was awesome.

Also, I knew that Ring Day is a big deal but I had no idea I needed to throw my son a party for it!

I know what y'all mean. My daughter ventured out to college in 2009. Now she has completed her bachelors and masters and moved to Florida.
    It sucks sometimes.

Same here - my daughter went off to UT-Arlington in 2009. Later that year, my wife and I moved to Alabama.
My daughter's now working in Fort Worth, making more than I did my last year in the Army.

Well, my daughter is all done with one chapter and on to the next. She commissioned as a Distinguished Military Grad (#4 of 51) and Graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors in Accounting...she definitely gets her smart from mamma!

I was also impressed that we had 4 or 5 local kids from the Killeen area commission this past Friday at A&M as well!
