    Week 8 Games (Rivalry Week)

This week promises to be not so bad for 1/2 of the KISD schools anyway

    Thursday game:

    Ellison (5-2, 1-2) vs. Killeen (2-4, 1-1)

    Friday games:

    Waco Midway (3-3, 2-0) @ Copperas Cove (2-5, 2-1)

    Harker Heights (1-5, 0-2) vs. Shoemaker (5-2, 2-1)

Ellison vs Killeen should be real good.
The others should end the way most of us think - with Cove and Heights losing.

Have to sit on the visitors side this week... And leave an hour early just to get parking...

Last weeks game was the same, as the Cove fans decided that they wanted to park on the home side, and try and commandeer some seats they didn't pay for. There were a bunch of spats between season ticket holders and folks who just decided they were going to sit wherever they wanted to. It was ugly for about the first quarter in the bleachers.

1/2 the town green & the other half maroon, just like old times.

1st meaningful game between the 2 in several years. Should be fun!

I'm willing to bet that SHS would disagree with the 50-50 split. They are hoping for a tie.

LOL well now yeah, they've got their third of the town too. Maybe just on Thursday it can be half and half

But huge game nonetheless. Get there early once again to those planning on going. (The crowds have been impressive this year in particular). The loser of this game is in big trouble playoff-wise

I'll take the Eagles tonight, lower scoring game in the 20s probably.

6-9 Elllison. Exciting game throughout. Anyone know anything about that poor kid that got hurt? Praying he's ok. He took a terrific tumble into the goal post.

My oldest daughter spent her freshman year at Ellison and was in the band. Then we were transferred to Ft Sill for OAC. Go Eagles.
