I wouldn't rely on the rankings. I still think Midway will win district. Cove and Midway played the toughest non district schedules. I think in the end it will be between Cove and Midway for top spot. If Cove and Midway make the playoffs, Shoemaker would probably go in as Div I team.

Cove will run wild on Ellison. 46-27.
Ehh I'm not sure if Cove's putting up that much on an improved & underrated Ellison defense

We'll see tomorrow night. Maybe. Maybe not. Maybe they will win; maybe they will lose. Good luck to both of them.

Not counting the Roos out by a long shot. They were supposed to go down hard...Anyone else remember that goose bump sight of those buses pulling into town?

Well, I have tickets on the 50 for tonights game, and it should be a real heart stopper, that's for sure.
As much as I would love to see the Eagles win, there are 2 things I have to remind myself of... 1. They are just coming off of their first loss of the season and 2. Cove is still on a high after pulling that game out last week. So both teams have a ton of motivation for tonight.
Ellisons defense is good, but nowhere near where they need to be. And unless coach has changed his plan of attack from last week, they will have to hope they are lucky. Last weeks game with the Wolves was not a prime example of offensive genius on the Eagles part. You don't keep trying the same thing over and over 30 times when it doesn't work against the defense.
All we can do is hope for a good clean game, good officiating, and that no one gets hurt.
