NSAIDS Heart Attack Warning Now
http://news.yahoo.com/fda-updates-he...MwXzEEc2VjA3Nj
Let's see: Tylenol can cause cognitive issues, memory and so forth. Now Advil (Ibuprofen under several names) and Aleve (Naproxyn Sodium) have warnings that they can cause heart attacks in high doses, even during the first few weeks of use.
Peescription NSAIDS like Celebrex and another one that's been pulled had the same issues. My stepmother had hip replacements and needed shoulder replacements, but Dad was terrified of losing her during surgery and kept talking her out of it. She took lots of RX arthritis medicine, and sure enough she died after a couple of heart attacks.
Aspirin can cause GI bleeding.
Just. Push. Through. The. Pain!

All those pain meds piss me off. They are prescribed by doctors too lazy or incompetent to deal with the causes and thus use drugs to control the symptoms.

You are correct, Grammar. I should have excluded those incidents where pain management is prescribed after trauma, but in those cases they generally prescribe more potent meds than NSAIDS.

I wonder how much Johnson and Johnson had to pay off some government agency
to get that warning on Ibuprofen's and Naproxyn's labels.
Just so they can increase sales of their highly profitable liver toxin.
I don't mind being called far right.
I have been right so far.

What liver toxin? Tylenol? It already came out that Acetaminophen causes cognitive impairment. I quit taking all that crap for my migraines in favor or aspirin or alka-seltzer some time ago. Luckily they're less frequent and severe now that I'm a silver fox.

Yep. Not well known, except by those treating overdose patients.

It's pretty well known. The reason I questioned is that Tylenol has already gotten warnings about the cognitive issue. I don't think the OTC med corps are paying off the govt to narc on each other. I think they all have issues.
Hooter, the silver in my hair is natural. If I had no silver, it would be coming from a bottle (or box).
