Well, that's one $1400 stimulus payment that we (the taxpayers) won't have to pay.

That's more than Jerry paid for the "boys back in 1989....

Hopefully. A good accountant can overcome that.

And they still don't know how his ankle is yet. Talk about paying for a pig in a poke. Now they need to dump Elliot and save a few bucks. He hasn't gained over a yard a carry in the longest time. Maybe once every 2 or 3 games he may gain something like a surprise 15 yard run if the opposing defense gets tired, but he never gets many good games any more. Like in baseball, too much money and it is not aimed at performance, but on gate draw.

Hard to believe, but...I completely agree with you, st. I think they would be much better off to get rid of Elliot. He looks like he has gained weight, lost a step, plus he started fumbling more than he ever has. And, I just think the Cowboys would be better off without his persona influencing the team and organization.
Was it early last season when JJ called Elliot the best player the Cowboys had? I'm thinking he wishes he wouldn't have said that now. I just believe that it wouldn't be that hard to find a running back that could take Elliiot's place and be much more productive and dependable...and much cheaper.
