I've seen the medicine cabinet idea before. A guy flush mounted a larger medicine cabinet over the spot where his built in one went, and put a shelf in the space where the old one was.
He mounted it in such a way that he could lift the medicine cabinet off the mounts and sit it aside, allowing access to the gun on the shelf. The one in the video works a lot more smoothly.
I don't mind being called far right.
I have been right so far.
