    Already have hydrangeas flourishing on the south (more shaded) side. You think lavender would do alright with full morning sun and shade after about 12? I usually put plants in pots for a season where I'd like to put them permanently, then dig that hole the next spring if I haven't killed them.

    lavenders will take full sun.

    I put my hydrangeas on the east side of the house, no pm sun...mac

    Saw lots of lavender on the side of the highway yesterday as I was traveling from SE Alabama up north to Wisconsin for my grandfather's 100th birthday celebration.
    Strangely, it would seem that the most lavender I saw was in Alabaster, Alabama...purple and white...
