We used small rabbits when fishing off the base of the damn at Lake Whitney. Took a good size catfish to eat it.
most people don't know just how good a bait small critters like that can be when fished on top of the water.....especially on moonlit nights. hell, even if they're too big, a gunny sack full of 'em dropped at the right place will draw cats and bulllheads to throw lines for a whole year........obviously, though, i would never recommend any thing like that......mac

I had a guinea pig once. Well, more like 8 of them. I was in San Diego and had just moved into an apartment with my girlfriend(ex-wife, now). She wanted to get a pet, but the apartment complex didn't allow dogs or cats. So we got a guinea pig to get around the rules. Well, then she thought the guinea pig was lonely. So we got another. But those two didn't get along. So we got another one to bring peace between the two. Well, next thing you know, we have 8 guinea pigs and a cage bigger than the kennel that my dachshunds now use. Damn, those guinea pigs use to squeeeeaaaaaal and bed changing was a weekend thing! I was a little happy once they all started dying off, and I'd never take one in again. lol

Someone on the forum has a hungry snake.
Who is not big enough to eat a guinea pig. She's just about ready for a small rat.

Xzochye, I knew the testosterone-overloaded carnivores here would greet your generous offer in the supportive way they did

Suggestion: repost on the KISD section under "classroom pet available," and maybe someone will want it.

One of my daughters brought one home during spring break one year. That was enough for me. Then there was an iguana one year. Ugh.
    Y'ALL MEANS ALL.

Iguanas are good to eat too.

You're supposed to remove the feathers before you put him in the roaster oven.
