Alaska Life 2014
So we started the New Year in North Pole at the Snow Flake drop. I even got to kiss Santa a Happy New Year! There is an ice park from Thanksgiving up to Epiphany and we celebrated out there. There were fireworks, floating lanterns, hot cocoa and door prizes (my son won binoculars!)
It was lots of fun. It was pretty warm too - only about zero.

You should be getting a good Aurora tonight.
Good way to start off a new year.
I don't mind being called far right.
I have been right so far.

Have you been to the hot springs yet? They are awesome during the winter.

We haven't been there in the winter. We visited recreationally during the summer and enjoyed the sights, but I think a romantic weekend in the winter with me and sweetie-pie would be a better deal.
