    Exclamation Question....

My daughter has a small chihuahua and she has been having a problem pooping. Over the last few days she seems to take forever to poop. Our daughter took her to a Vet in Temple and she tried to flush her out twice. It worked some what. But the Vet told her there is a blockage. The way I understand it something is pushing down on the dogs rectum poop track. Sorry my Doctor talk isn't up to par. All I know is this dog needs to be healed.

I'm sorry to hear about your daughter's puppy problems. So, what is the question?

She can try mixing the food with a tbsp. of mineral oil. It's not harmful and might lubricate.

What did the vet suggest doing about the blockage?

The vet wants her to take Lita "the dog" to a specialist. Friday morning we are going to my vet on the 121 loop near the expo center. They are the best IMO.

Lita update! Took her the Belton Vet on the 121 this morning. She is just full of poop. IMHO these people are the best. We have a few days of treatment here at home but we are all happy it isn't worse.
