Hot Spots on Dogs
Does anyone have know of a cure for Hot Spots on dogs?
I have a short haired dog that is covered.
We have tried Fungaway for horses and a medicated shampoo but have had no luck controlling it.

There was a guy who worked for the railroad that used to swear by a concoction of motor oil and fusees.
I don't know if I really recommend it or not, but it seemed to work for him and the stray dogs he tended to that wandered into the rail yard.

Creosote works well with cattle. Why not dogs?

Our vet at Eastlake gave us a pump spray bottle with medication. Hot spots fell off between one and two weeks.
