Yep.
One thing for sure, regardless what the Indians do tonight, they are heading in a different direction than the Rangers are.

Guess they ain't going to make it today either...They can watch how it's done at home (with the Rangers) on them thar hi def TVs they get with all them major league salaries.
My condolences fans. Believe me, we Ranger fans feel your pain.
Especially when I see them striking out looking...they must have been taking lessons from Nelly Cruz and Ian Kinsler.

It ain't over til the fat lady sings, but she's been warming up with a few choruses for a couple of innings now.
That is 8 runners left on base.

Damn for the 5th time tonight!!
This is over.
But the Tribe will be back. They lead the league in shutouts and had more series sweeps than any team since the 1943 Cards.
Just couldn't plate runs tonight.

They had their chances. Bases loaded, 1 out, and hit into double play. Runners on 1st and 3rd, no outs, and don't score.
The top of the lineup didn't hit at all.
Oh well, time for more football!!!!

Re: Baseball's Hottest Team
Tampa simply has better pitching. I do think they have a better chance of beating Boston than Cleveland does.
I'm just glad to see the Indians on the way up. And am appreciative that they let us watch baseball into October. Usually, we're done watching by June.

They have a couple of decisions to make before next year:
1. Stick with Perez and hope he returns to his old form as closer? Personally, I'd let him walk. Joe Smith is very good in that role. And if Vinny Pestano returns as good as he was then won't need Perez.
2. Tomlin should be back also. Gonna be a crowded starter roster - who do they shove to the bullpen?
3. Left side of the infield needs improvement. Cabrera is washed up. And Chissenhall never was washed to begin with. Find a SS and third basemen.
