We Should be Dead
Strong message here, for anyone who wants to see it. But I'm sure that someone will want to politicize it.

I remember my mother locking us OUT of the house because she did not want us running in and out all day.

I was deprived.....the ONLY kid on the entire street who was not allowed to play in the street. I was also the only one not allowed to ride my bike behind the truck that was the DDT fogger. It's not that my mother thought the DDT fog was bad to play in (she let me do that), it was just that she was afraid I wouldn't be able to see where I was going.

I remember those foggers. We had to run to bring in clothes that were out on the line when we saw them coming, but then we'd sit and watch the fogger go by. Maybe that's why I'm so foggy brained so much of the time.
