Sunrise is at about 11:00 right now and sunset is about 2:30. It's 4:00 here now and it's dark.

If i was going to be outside for any length of time (more than just car to building or back), I'd have on two pairs of gloves, an extra scarf and my hat.
After -35 it doesn't feel any colder.
Wait until it hits -60!!!!

My oldest daughter and her family spent 8 years in the North Pole. She loved the summers (will get above 90 degrees and AC is usually not available) but after 6 months of dark she was going nuts.

They are at Scott AFB in ILL. now. He retires next year or so he says.
