First Grand child
I spent the day yesterday waiting for the arrival of my first grandson and he finally arrived at 7:07 last night.
Life is good. Nah, life is great.

Kind of reminds me of my spouse staying up until late into the night to watch a baseball game as if her observation and yelling at the "incompetent" manager would make a difference.
It must be a woman thing.
I was at home in bed when my firstborn arrived. I saw her the next day... after I had a good breakfast at a local diner. She came out alright without my presence.
That, my dear, sir is EXACTLY why she came out all right.

I suppose you consider this post a productive use of your time?

Sure is. With grand kids you love'em, spoil'em, and send them home.
With your kids you spend the first 2-3 years showing them how to walk and talk, and the rest of your life telling them to sit down and shut up!!!!!

Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.

Congratulations! This little guy will become the new love of your life. There is a special bond between a grandmother and grandchild that is like nothing else you can ever experience. Enjoy him.
