Yeah, there is a lot of that goes on in the markets. We discussed it in reference to gold, and it got a lot of news back in '08 when some stocks sold short more shares than actually existed. This isn't usually that bad, though. The company is probably betting on finding, or already has an order to the manufacture, for the ammo. Looks like Sportsman's Guide got caught flat footed, and now they are not prepared to take the loss. If Cabela's ships by the end of the month, it's all good. If it goes past 3 June (the day the Obamessiah is supposed to sign the treaty) all bets are off.

I got an e-mail saying it would take 14 to 24 days to fill my order. Since it is Yugoslav ammo, I suspect they were selling yesterday, what is being produced today, that will be shipped next week. At these prices, I don't think we'll be canceling.

Yep...I do miss the days when you could run into Walmart or Academy and get a box of Federal 22LR (500 rounds) for $16.

I have received the 200 rounds of .223 that I ordered from Cabela's. The first 100 came Thursday, the rest today. It was delayed due to the storms that hit the DFW area last week.
