Yes it did. Thanks! The way I finally got it off was to have my daughter secure the nut while I turned the bolt. Or vice versa. She's stronger than I am. Then she flooded it, but it turns over. It will be a little balky until it's run around a few times. It's not the one I usually ride; this one is a Honda and my other one is a larger Suzuki. Great fun, though, both of them.

No, Hooter, not even any blood loss. I have a couple of bruises, though, from my clumsy contortions, but all my appendages are intact. Sorry to disappoint!

I have an air compressor left over from my late husband's construction biz, and it's very handy for airing up the off-road stuff on my place. Unfortunately, the hose leaks air, and duct tape won't hold. What kind of tape or sealant can I rig it with?

Or if my son in law helps me load it up, I'll take it somewhere for repairs.

    But where? Suggestions appreciated.

Your best bet would be a replacement air hose. Walmart carries them as do Home Depot and Lowes.

Other than any sentamental value the hose may have, is there any reason not to simply buy a new hose at Walmart?

Sentimental? Haha no. There's plenty of hose left. I could just cut it off, but the business end of the thing also leaks. Would Walmart carry that?
