Another member of the forum since day one.
He will be missed.
Memorial graveside services for retired Master Sgt. David Douglas Leffingwell, 73, of Copperas Cove, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
Mr. Leffingwell died Oct. 22, 2020.
He was born on Dec. 24, 1946, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Douglas Campbell Leffingwell and Janet Maude Price.

I always enjoyed talking with him about Coach Welch..and his daughter playing soccer. Always seemed like a nice guy....Hate to hear he passed.

I'm Dave's neighbor. He has been very sick for over a year. So sick that he has spent most of the past year in a rehab facility.
I hope many on this board attends his funeral.

Im sure the Lord Jesus Christ is giving him a huge hug. No more illness. No more pain. He's home now.
God Speed, Mr Leffingwell. We'll meet again. I bet you'll have a better story then me. But that's ok.

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear about that. I was able to meet him a few times at his house over the years. He was always a pleasure to be around. I'm going to try to be at his service.
