This is the first time I've seen this penalty issued... That's a pretty hefty fine but then NA$CAR needs the money...

Wrong!!! In an article I read yesterday, Cuomo had granted a waiver to NA$CAR for The Glen but apparently NA$CAR wants still run the race at Daytona, in a state that has seen consistently rises...

I put the link in because of the content of the article... The part of this that pi$$es me off the most is that the August race(s) at Watkins Glen have been, as NA$CAR puts, realigned to the road...

I was right Rick but then I've either attended or watched the Indy 500 enough times to know that fact...

The last I heard is that he was taken from the track to a local hospital, I suspect Methodist which is where they generally take them...
