I've joined a few FB prepper groups, and lemme tell ya, some of them are conspiracy theorists!! :))
Due to excessive rain or drought, we are growing our veggies in pots again this year. Most of them came back. Herbs did alright, too. My brightest idea yet was to put the heavier ones on wheels so...
Excellent site! Thanks!
You're right. I spend a lot of time Just Organizing. I know where things are, how much of each there are, and everything is clean and in its place. I spend almost as much time cleaning... Did you...
Today I called Express Scripts (Tricare mail in pharmacy). Saving almost $100/month now. Some meds aren't available at DACH. Three month supply puts my mind at ease.

I've been reading a blog by MD Creekmore. Very interesting, and includes comments by readers: "What have you done to prep this week?" Some take on monumental tasks, but many others just organize and...
We only have walkie talkies for family members. Might need to think about a CB. Thanks.
Only one rattler so far. He bit the shovel, literally, when I pushed him back. He was easily divisible into fourths.
I have a shovel specifically designated for those things...
Pest control came today. Can't smell the poison, but I wasn't here then.
Dave, you can bet I'm using every can I can find right now. I'm on a mission. Kill them all and wait for pest control to kill the ones I can't see.
Thanks! Big winged ants came in through window sill and I called and spoke to Patrick. Service next week.
Ants don't know their place. The kitchen is mine. Would like opinions of pest control services for Killeen. Would rather not use Terminix or Orkin.
Joking, Mestral, I would use it more than WD-40.
Nah, I would have to get some more duct tape.
Cheap motion lights plugged into the wall. I hadn't thought to use these for intruders. I use them in the halls next to the bathroom when company stays for a while.

Oh. My. God.

Only problem with this page is that you can't zoom in with an iPad.
I agree. I smell them a couple times a week now, usually when I got out to get the paper (very carefully), sniffing all the while.

This is an expiration chart with freezer times. Pretty interesting.
I don't think so. My better half shut the door pretty quickly.
This peaked my interest so I read about the uses and qualities of oils and manufacturers. I think I read about oils for an hour last night. Some of the sites:

Roofers knocked on our door, too last night. We don't even have any damage.
I don't know if he does major repairs, but Tommy Thompson replaced a few missing shingles on our roof when he came to clean the dryer vent and the chimney. Decently priced.
I'll pay only if extensive research includes back-breaking labor.
Already have hydrangeas flourishing on the south (more shaded) side. You think lavender would do alright with full morning sun and shade after about 12? I usually put plants in pots for a season...
Where are they planted? I have plants that prefer a certain side of my house.
I see that it's extra for 50 rounds? Is this also for CHL?
I have a question about water storage. Looking online, I see jugs, cubes, and cylinders with handles embedded into the shape. Would like to hear of experiences with brands, containers, weights, and...
Styrofoam coolers come in the mail for meds every 2 weeks, so I can use them. Lightweight for shelving.
Thanks for the idea. We have about 50 gallons of water in different containers in the garage and several styrofoam coolers. I will be cutting up coolers tomorrow. :)
We have a couple of citronella plants, too. Clipped off the dead stuff and put them in the garage. We leave the light on in there. They've been nice and green since Nov 11th.
Mine has a little button on the side of where the brushes are housed. Maybe yours does?
Our vet at Eastlake gave us a pump spray bottle with medication. Hot spots fell off between one and two weeks.
Parker's Pools, he's really busy but might know someone.

Don't know where you'd look in bedrooms, but our kitchen almost had smell issues. We came to look at the progress while our house was being built, and found that the workers were putting their trash...
Picked up a regular gas can at Mickey's on Trimmier and Jasper a few months ago.
Sorry. Allergic to cats.
What kind of pet?
Mini bell peppers are doing amazingly well in pots, but we had to put a cover over the tomato trellises. The heat is killing them and we just planted them today! Everything else is green and lovely....
We get them a LOT in the summer. Word to new pool owners: Check the entire pool and the skimmer first EVERY time you go swimming. They all wind up in the same condition at our place.
SO many games now!
We've used Eastlake across from Longbranch park and had no problems.
If it doesn't go as planned, you could try Ernie's Plumbing. It's online, and has several plumbers all over the place, including here. I did a long web search before we used them, and a really nice...
