Speaking of eclipse - Killeen is set to be in the path of totality for the solar eclipse of 8 April 2024.
Eclipse Path of Total Solar Eclipse on April 8, 2024 (timeanddate.com)
I went north of Chattanooga for the 2017 solar eclipse, well into the path of totality, and man, that was really something to see.
-
I have only seen one solar eclipse, and that was about a 80% eclipse. I may even still be alive, hopefully, in 2024 to witness this next one.:)

Had to look low in the north to catch it last night, but it had lots of hang time.
-
Pretty good show tonight. From North to East and high and bright. ::)

Couldn't see it from here. Going to try to see the comet in the morning. May have a good view from my work parking lot.
-
No luck seeing the comet this morning.

Last night, Thursday, it was up for a long time and very high and clear. Tons of hang time. My wife even got off the couch to go out and see it with me. We held hands and watched.
-
I was busy and missed it last night.
