My Royals sure did start out on the right path though....:)

I join my governor in boycotting MLB. My spouse will continue to sofa-manage the Rangers... what else can a 79-year-old woman do?
Watching the Rangers figure out new ways of snatching defeat out of the jaws of victory is never dull... They can have a 10 run lead and still lose 11 to 10 once the bullpen gets in there. The other teams know that all they need do is last long enough to get the first reliever, and then it is Katie bar the gate.
A free for all hitting frenzy soon ensues, and then, the obligatory loss. They never disappoint.
I liked the commentary from the "radio right" yesterday. Many of them noted (many quoting a letter sent top MLB by a Black U.S. Congressman from South Carolina) that by moving the All Star game from Atlanta to Denver, MLB id actually hurting the Black community overall, "The ATL"'s population is 51% Black. Denver's is 9.2 or something like that. All of the money spent by people at the game that could've gone to Black-owned businesses and Black residents, will now go to a city that is mostly White...
Caught a piece of the Rangers game while watching the Royal -Indians, they had an in game segment as the Rangers saw two HR's go over their heads into the stands and the announcers quipped, "If the Rangers continue like this, it will be a long year"....its like watching the Mets....you have hope, but alas Hope is not a method....
Fox News, or Newsmax, one of them had a former MLB ?commissioner? on for an interview. He acknowledged what you are saying, but mentioned that arguing with facts is a losing proposition, when dealing with the MLB and player's union. It is the Player's Union that is calling the shots here, and facts are irrelevant if the players won't play.
(My opinion is they should do to them what Reagan did to the Air Traffic Controllers: if they don't show up and play, they get pink slipped. Every last one of them, if necessary.)
Players get paid the same no matter what happens. They have become numb to the concerns of the little people.
FOX was saying that Denver was 76% white, or something like that. I would think that woke included a modicrum of intelligence to it, but then I suppose not.
