We can always add bad cops.
    http://www.centextalk.com/vb/showthr...005#post296005

For years, the cops pretended their was a war against cops.
Now, they have one for real.
I do wish they had done more, years ago, to build a better trust with the public.

In the case above, they had a bad cop, and chose to stand with him,
instead of cutting the cancer out of their department.
They lost a lot of public trust in those years.
They could use that trust, today.

Just a couple days short of the six month mark, since I wrote this blog entry. Contrary to my previous comment, it was only two out of the three Trump appointees to the Supreme Court that displayed cowardice. Barrett and Kavanaugh chose to do the easy thing, allowing the Bolsheviks and Maoists to steal the election though a "comprehensive fraud machine," to use Biden's own words, rather than risk a storm of violence from the Left by hearing the case, which would have proved Biden did not win, but that the Left was stealing the election, through massive fraud.

Everything else in the comment above still stands, except I will note, I am skeptical that we will make it to 2028.

As it has been about 90 days, this is an update on the Blog Post above:

It looks like we lost four, gained a bit on the Governor races, and scored a tie on the Court.
(We got three seated, but they all displayed cowardice in the case of election fraud.)

But, we also now know that the election vote counting and the federal court system are both in the hands of the Bolsheviks and Maoists.

Therefore I am altering my timeline for the collapse of the US from 2030, to around 2028.

I noticed that msn.com's newspage removed the ability to comment last year.

Made sense. If something bad happened, the Libs would blame Trump and the Conservatives would blame Obama. If something good happened, each side would then declare that it was only temporary, and that bad things were be back.

Both the right and the left become highly indignant over comments which contradict their views. I don't know which side is worse about trying to quash alternative views. What is maddening is the fake shock both sides express over the ither's actions. Face it, civil discourse is almost dead. I would say dead, but there are a few left who can debate issues with passion and vigor, but not hatred and bigotry.

By what measure do you decide who is called a militia, and who is not?

Looks like "The Examiner" has moved left and is now censoring news based on content. I haven't completely researched this, but it does look that way to me, no matter what their excuse. Anyone interested can read about the whole ordeal by following the link.

In related news, I may have stumbled across the source where Grammar Rules got her idea to insult me by calling me an ammosexual. It appears to have originated with an atheist or pantheist (not sure which he is) author on a God hating page of that same website.

    http://waronguns.blogspot.com/2015/0...teria-may.html
I've been writing for them since 2008, and never had a column pulled before. Now they've sunk two in a row, and have clammed up on their reason, to boot.

A full week after Examiner.com "unpublished" my Hastert column, and five days after they torpedoed my follow-up column about a media subscriber news service including that story in an alert to members, they still have not responded to multiple inquiries asking why. That's in spite of their instruction to "Contact support with any questions."

That they would let a content provider spend hours researching, writing, publishing and publicizing an article, pull it, and then go into hiding, is indicative of the "leadership" routinely endured over the years, and leads to natural speculation as to what "offense" against "standards" could have possibly occurred this time. If tough to know what's allowable when anti-gun "progressives" are permitted to outright lie and call gun owners who believe in their rights "ammosexuals" (that's actually a keyword tag on the Examiner site).
Yep. Censorship of content, plain and simple.
UPDATE: Well, that was quick. At least it shows they can move when motivated. They fired me, and warned me not to show anyone the termination notice because that would violate a confidentiality agreement. I'll match their agreement violations over the years against mine if they want to pursue this, because I maintain this is definitely in the interests of pursuing a story about cheesy Examiner.com practices:

Fox News may be turning even more liberal in the near future.

From someone who is unapologetically right.
    http://www.wnd.com/2015/06/my-fox-ne...y-coming-true/
Five years ago, I made a prediction.

Specifically, here’s what I said publicly five years ago: “I have to tell you … this may be a little controversial, but I believe, a lot of people look at Fox News as, you know, their alternative choice for TV. I think Fox has a lot of limitations. I am not particularly excited about it but one thing I do know is, that whatever it is doing well right now, it is not going to continue doing well into the future because it depends on two human beings who are both in their 80s – Roger Ailes and Rupert Murdoch. They’re not going to be around forever, and when they leave, inertia, that is very familiar to me from my many years in the ‘mainstream’ media, will take Fox News right where CNN is. … The children, the Murdoch children, have said they can’t wait to make Fox News more like CNN. Now why would you want to make the successful Fox News more like the unsuccessful CNN? Because, you get invited to better cocktail parties in Manhattan when you do that – it’s that simple.”

I predicted an implosion of Fox News that would happen quickly after Murdoch and Ailes retired.

Here we are, right on schedule.

Rupert Murdoch’s son, James Murdoch, who resigned from News International – the publisher of several overseas tabloids and newspapers will soon become the new CEO, CNBC reported. The elder Murdoch is reportedly staying on as chairman, while another son, Lachlan, becomes executive co-chairman.

All this is taking place just as the 2016 presidential election gears up. Why is that significant?

James Murdoch gave $2,300 to Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign. He also donated between $1 million and $5 million to the scandal-plagued Clinton Foundation. The elder Murdoch, meanwhile, has donated to both establishment Republican and Democratic campaigns, including those of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Sen. Lindsey Graham, Sen. Cory Booker and Rep. Steny Hoyer.

Significantly, James Murdoch has a good relationship with Saudi Arabia’s Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, one of Fox’s top shareholders.

It will take time, but the very elements that allowed Fox to rise to the position of cable news ratings king will be stripped from the programming. It won’t happen overnight. It will be a process that develops over the next two or three years.

It’s good news for the Muslim Brotherhood. It’s good news for “progressives” re-establishing a hammerlock of control over TV news. It’s bad news for dissent, debate and for fairness and balance in reporting.

Along these same lines of "Well Regulated" Sipsey Street links to an article on the subject.
Which is a little surprising, as there is no love lost between most gun rights activists and Robert Farago, the owner of thetruthaboutguns blog.

Dutchman6's (Sipsey Street owner) uses this as an intro:
The Missouri Militia is run by grown-ups. Nobody is posing, flexing or fronting. Some are bearded, but I met no one seeking “the bubble reputation.” From the commanding officer Colonel S down to the the lowest squaddie, folks are grown-up about being a militia. People who have not been in a “disciplined” organization like the military or the Scouts may not fully appreciate what discipline in this context means. Discipline is power under control. Discipline is an answer to chaos. A culture of good discipline actually liberates the participants in that culture from the headaches and drama brought about by people thoughtlessly pursuing their own gripes and agendas.
The article is written by Tim McNabb, a regular contributor to the site.
    http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/201...lated-militia/
As the Bundy incident unfolded, I checked the website of the Missouri Militia. I discovered that, by statute, I was already a member of the Missouri Militia being that I was an able-bodied citizen between the age of 18 and 64. I found the contact information for the local unit, the 3rd Battalion, 2nd Brigade of the Missouri Militia.

In my reading, research and discussion with folks on the topic, I learned that there are other groups that call themselves militias in Missouri. The 3/2 was an element of what I believe is the largest organized militia group in the Show-Me state. Using the contact information on the website, I got in touch with Major Y.
He goes on, for about 5 pages, describing in detail what a weekend training event with them is like.

In the area of logistics, I find it interesting to compare to what the Ukrainian Army was in need of this spring.

    http://news.kievukraine.info/2014/05...ine-spare.html
Ukraine in the aftermath of Russia’s invasion of Crimea, the list was more basic: boots, uniforms, body armor, and spare tires.
    ...
Ukraine’s military lacks the logistical equipment, functioning vehicles and trained soldiers to support expeditions for long periods of time away from their military bases.
    ...
Biden ... said the United States would be sending Kiev communications equipment, bomb detection gear, and other technology to root out infiltrators.
    ...
to its credit, has sent meals-ready-to-eat (MREs) and has committed to enhance military training
    ...
]Defense Department spokesperson Eileen Lainez said that the U.S. Embassy in Kiev has, for now, “purchased and delivered fuel pumps, concertina wire, vehicle batteries, spare tires, binoculars, and communications gear to the Ukrainian Border Guards.”

In addition to the lack of discipline, exacerbated by fear of the unknown (are the federales going to attack us?) there were also problems with the supply chain. There is a posting about how the supply chain should work. Pretty elementary to those of us who worked in Logistics, but a lot of the easy stuff escapes those who haven't done it before, and too many of us who have done it forget that those who haven't don't know it.

I suspect it was a move to bring it to the floor and then kill it. Didn't really work, though, as political maneuvering by Dingy Harry put the bill in a state where he can bring it back at any time and try again to get it passed.
