Is NASCAR still using carburetors?

If yes, what is the reason not to use a more efficient fuel/engine management?

I call it laziness.

Because it's easier to measure carburetor jets and barrel size than try to measure the tiny holes in a fuel injector.
Someone years ago suggested that maybe NASCAR could ISSUE the fuel injectors to the teams in a blind draw, and let the teams run with that.

Why not? They already issue the restrictor plates at Daytona and Talladega... :smoke

Exactly what I was thinking. Just issue the teams an ECU that can only be flashed by NASCAR officials(just like car manufacturers do now) and stick to one size injectors(add that to the inspection checklist) just like they have been doing with carbs since I was a kid.
