Who's your favorite team in each and who do you think it going to win it all?
I don't really follow mens' college basketball that much. Will probably watch the Final Four, but don't really have a favorite team. But I'll take North Carolina to win it all.
Womens? I like Baylor, and being from Ohio also Ohio State. To win it all - no contest: Connecticut.

Men's.....Definitely Gonzaga!!!! Women's....I'm not so sure on that one....but my 2 year old son and I have had tons of fun watching the games together! We watched the women last night. Was Vanderbilt vs. Kansas State. He kept telling me, "Mommy, watch!! Here they go!!" Then when they made a basket, he'd yell "Yea!! Good job!!!" then he'd clap his hands and then come 'high-five' me! Too cute!

I think that's our favorite witch's alma-mater.

Don't feel bad. Duke's women, the #1 seed in their regional, lost tonight to Michigan State.

And Duke's mens' team, #2 seed, went bye-bye last night.

Since UT is out I will have to think about this one for a minute.
Men: Mizz
Women: Baylor. Only because they are just down the road.

Baylor's girls bowed out this afternoon. I watched part of it - they didn't look very good at all.
Last night's Michigan State - Kansas game (mens') was pretty good. Kansas goes home. Sorry Scarlett.:crying

Did anyone watch the Pitt - Villanova game today (mens')??
'Nova won it with .5 seconds to go. Helluva game, and I usually don't bother watching this March Madness stuff.

Great game but it did screw the pooch with my bracket though. I had Pitt winning it all. I was pulling for a Louisville/ North Carolina final if Pitt couldn't do it but now I just want to see some good final four games. Football season will be here before you know it though. Go Vols Go Cowboys.

The Final Four in both mens' and womens' should be good.
Men: Michigan State, North Carolina, Villanova and Connecticut.
Women: Stanford (assuming they beat Iowa State tonight), Maryland, Oklahoma (I assume they will beat Purdue) and Connecticut (which should handle Az State.
Guess the rest of the country needs to catch up to Connecticut - both mens' and womens' teams are great every year.

Correction #1 - Louisville's women did what the men couldn't by winning a regional and knocking out Maryland. Stanford and Oklahoma up next.

Assuming Stanford beats Iowa State?
Brother, what a blowout for a regional final. Their post, some beast named Appel, scored 46 points.
Look for a Stanford - Connecticut final.

Connecticut made short work of Arizona State in the regional final tonight. Purdue and Oklahoma are playing now.
I was wrong about Stanford-Connecticut final. They will meet in the semis. Doesn't seem right - the two best teams in the country should play in the finals.

I kind of agree with you there, Sarge. It seems lots of players coming out of Duke and UNC get super-hyped. Very few are that successful in the NBA. For every Michael Jordan or James Worthy there are ten Laettners and Parks.

Mens' finals - North Carolina and Michigan State. I'll take the Tarheels, although Michigan State is tough.
Womens' - Louisville just upset Oklahoma in one semi; Stanford and Connecticut in the other. Should be a butt kicker.

A butt kicker it was. Connecticut kicked Stanford's butt all over the floor. At one time they were up by 30 points.

North Carolina over Michigan State in a blowout last night in the mens' final.
Tonight will be more of the same - I think Connecticut will run Louisville off the floor.

Congratulations UNC. Thank God Mich State didn't win.

Connecticut ran Louisville out of St. Louis. 39-0! What a dominant team.
Now we get the NBA playoffs coming up, but don't worry, only 4 months and football will be back!
