Getting a cast

About how long is the process of getting a cast put on - from shoulder to wrist?

We were supposed to be leaving first thing Monday morning and now we will be delaying that while one of our family gets a cast. I am just trying to figure out a new set of timelines.

broken bones, I think about seven (7) weeks I had mine on for broken wrists. But that was wrist to elbow as I remember.
