So damn ridiculous that high schools can play at UMHB, but UMHB can't.

Different rules between the UIL (Texas grade school activities) and the National Junior College Athletic Association. The UIL is based in Texas, so of course, there's a different mindset than from a group headquartered somewhere in Yankeeland (I'm guessing here...).
