Anyone on here have a dry sauna? I?d love to run a few questions by you. I?d like to add one to my home gym but the prices are all over the place. Thanks in advance.

Guess no one has one... Or is loathe to admit it publicly.:)

Isn't mowing your grass under a hot Texas sun considered a 'dry sauna'?

This thread was the first time in my entire life. I read the term, "dry sauna". I had to look it up. The description reminded me of standing in a tin roof chicken coop, midday.

Yeah that fell flat, I’m sure someone has one but as you said is loathe to admit it. I’ll have to keep doing my research then.

Well, it's kind of like me wanting to put in an inground pool or a spa... My wife knows I love a dip in these hot summer evenings, but she also witnessed all of the time and effort it took me to maintain an inground pool like at our old house.

My neighbor put an inground pool in last week, and they are just now finishing up this 3 month long project. He is already tired of the chemical costs and the vacuuming time, and he had an inground pool at his last house so it's not like he's walking into this blind.

In the end, we all have to ask ourselves if the expense and effort are really worth the use we get out of something. That is one of the reasons I am selling oiff a lot of my guitars and guns right now. I don't get much bang for my buck any more, and I am getting close to check out time anyhow. Besides, I have already figured out I am not going to be a rock star or the next Annie Oaklie either.

But researching any subject is always a wise move prior to plunking down money for something. Good luck.

I've been in a hot tub. It's amazing in the winter. But you can't stay it more then 20 minutes. It does things to make you light headed.

I don't have that much experience in a hot tub. The 20 minutes, I felt.

It all depends on who is in the spa with you.

So you made a bad choice. Don't blame the spa.

Correct.
