Saw this thing in action on youtube the other day.... Still wouldn't want one.

They are selling an AK12 that is a semi auto 12 gauge at the local stores now... Not a bull pup, but certainly a next to best thing to own... Not into shotguns myself, but it does look like a real bad guy killer to me.

Are you talking about the Saiga 12? That IS a hell of a shotgun. There's quite a range of magazines available for it.

There's a Chinese version of the Saiga called the Puma that takes Saiga magazines and comes in the bullpup configuration.

Yeah... I think that is the one... Everybody needs a semi auto 12 gauge with a 50 round mag, right?

I never did care much for bull pup designs because I always felt like they were tucked in too tight to the cheek and shoulder.

But I understand why the shorter length, weight difference and different design might have some allure for folks.

In the end, the basic design of the AR and the AK are universally loved. And most every design since they came out has been just an improvement on, or variation of that theme.
