Killeen has a freshman that will be interesting to keep an eye on. Don't see many on varsity

Not a very impressive first week for our district.

Ehh..I'd say so far it's been mostly pretty good. Ellison dominated, Midway had an impressive win, Heights didn't let too much happen after giving up an opening TD. Belton seemed like they gave a strong performance in their loss, even Killeen at times sounded really strong in their loss, just turnovers & their star WR getting ejected bit em. Of course we'll see about Shoemaker tonight.

If Shoemaker can't destroy that team from Mexico it will tell us all we need to know about Shoemaker.
I'm sure Cove will beat them next week, but it used to be 50+ point differentials. This Cove team might win by 28.
From what I have heard, Jack Welch is already starting to hear the negative comments. People just don't realize Cove's talent pool
dried up 3 years ago. There are no more RG3s, Vontez Duffs, Peanut Tillmans, Howards Hodges, Brock Brothers, etc.

This is a must win game for Shoemaker Hs. I watched the game last year and those weren’t just random kids from Mexico. They could play, if they win they can use that moving forward when they move on to play three teams ranked in the top 8 of Texas Hs football. I’ll reserve all comments about the powers that be at killeen Isd until then.

The team from Mexico used to be their national champs. I think the last couple of years it's been an all star team.

Nice job by Shoemaker losing to that Mexican team. :))
We'll see next Friday if Cove can compete. :)
