Wow, this was fast. Cove receives goes right down the field and scores on a Manny Harris TD pass.
Dawgs-7, Midway-0. Now we need some good old, hard defense!!!!!

Midway immediately returns the favor. 7-7 Might be a real shootout. Probably come down to a turnover or two.

Cove is leading in penalties though - already 4 for us, 0 for them. :)

Think I'll turn off the radio and turn on re-runs of SpongeBob. :)

Midway returns the kickoff to Cove's 22. Unreal. This is still the first quarter. :))

Cove's Manny Harris has 3 TD passes, but also 3 INTs. That and half a dozen penalties have killed the Dawgs.
Last I heard Killeen was leading Ellison 21-0.

Damn - Cove's D finally stops them, gets the ball, moves down inside the 10 and fumbles it away.

Cove's D stops them again. Midway is still picking up plenty of yards, but Cove makes a good defensive play and sacks the QB.

And Cove goes nowhere and has to punt. Every time Cove's defense rises up and stops them we can't do a thing with the ball.

Not the end of the world, but neither defense can be happy about this one.

I cant believe Midway is not in the top 10. They should be a force to deal with when the playoffs come around. Hope they kick some DFW and Houston area teams good; let them know there is football in other parts of Texas.

I agree. That offense is something else. Cove had 4 turnovers and that was the difference. But their offense is about unstoppable.
