Coach Fonteneaux didn't just coach baseball at Paul Quinn College; he saved young men. His players have gotten together with him every summer for 28 years. One of the student athletes, Kenneth Lee, credits Coach with keeping him off the path that led his friends to jail. Instead, Kenneth is an accountant in Tennessee. When Coach's kidneys failed as a result of diabetes, several former team members offered a kidney. Kenneth was the one who was able to give the gift of life to the man who was a father to him.
